Biome Introduction
Biomes make each part of the world unique. For example, if the Sahara Desert was not a desert, it would not be counted as the biggest desert in the world. Biomes give homes to each different animal. For example, Penguins can't live in the desert because they are used to the pole's coldness. Animals' behavior are affected by the type of biome they are in.
Taiga
The taiga is near the northern part of the world. Its cold temperature helps moose, lynx, foxes, shrews, and bears live. Normally 35cm to 100cm of snow reaches the taiga. The soil is mostly thaw in the summer which is good for plants. One of the plants that are there are the White Poplars.

Desert
The desert is a very dry place and has much of humidity. There's not much precipitation which means there is no vegetation but cacti.
Animals like camels can survive in the desert because of their humps.
Their humps help them hold water for days and not get thirsty. If you go to the desert, you will see that most people use camels so they do not need to go to an oasis to get water. An oasis is a groundwater patch in the middle of a desert. The soil is gravelly bad and snakes can be found there. One type of plant that is found in the desert is the Crimson Hedgehog Cactus.

Tropical RainForest
Tropical Rainforests have an average temperature of 25 degrees Celsius with at least 200 cm of rain, but it can get to 600 cm of precipitation. It is warm. Mostly located near the equator. Some animals include toucans, poison dark frog, and monkeys. Because of the temperature of these forests, some types of trees can live there. For example, a Coconut Tree.

Temperate Rainforest
The average temperature in the temperate rainforest is 9 degrees Celsius to 12 degrees Celsius. It receives 200 to 400 cm of precipitation so it means that soil must be good. Not a lot of sunlight penetrates through so it is not so hot. Many net-like trees like douglas fir grow in there. Some animals include black bears and some amphibians like salamanders.

In the temperate deciduous forest there are four seasons and the precipitation is about 75 cm to 150 cm. In winter times, temperature drops lower than 0 degrees Celsius, but in summer times, it is about 30 degrees Celsius. You can find a lot of evergreen trees and white-tail deer, foxes, and rabbits are some animals that live there. It has good soil and sunlight which help trees.

It has fertile soil and it is very sunny except when it is raining. The animals that mostly live there are the mammals, but there are other animals like wild beasts, kangaroos, impalas, and zebras.
